Urbe Aero & easyJet: 10 more cadets selected (total 24)

Urbe Aero Flight Academy continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading aviation academies. Following easyJet’s latest selection round, 10 Urbe Aero cadets have been chosen to begin their path toward becoming commercial airline pilots.

This milestone follows easyJet’s validation of Urbe Aero’s training quality through multiple operational audits. As a result of this validation within the School of Excellence pathway, eligible cadets bypass the traditional simulator-based technical screening and the technical interview and are evaluated solely on their psychological and attitudinal competencies.

These latest selections bring the total to 24 Urbe Aero cadets who have entered easyJet via the direct pathway, underscoring the strength of Urbe Aero’s training model and its commitment to bridging education and industry.

“We are proud to see our young pilots take flight. Our long-standing collaboration with easyJet laid the foundation for this recognition, and we deeply admire the airline’s values and vision,” said Prof. Lorenzo Mezzadri, Accountable Manager of Urbe Aero Flight Academy.

Beyond technical instruction, Urbe Aero places strong emphasis on soft-skill development and psychological readiness—key differentiators in today’s competitive airline selection processes. The academy’s approach ensures graduates are not only proficient in flight operations but also equipped to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

With another easyJet selection round expected in early 2026, Urbe Aero continues to help future pilots turn their ambitions into careers.
